Shark WD101 HydroVac XL 3-in-1 Vacuum

Yes. The WD101 picks up debris and scrubs in the same pass, leaving tile and wood clean and fairly dry, even with muddy pet traffic through the house. Shark says floors dry quickly enough to walk on almost right away, so there's little waiting before the room is back in use.

It's mixed. With no battery to run down, the WD101 suits bigger homes that need a long session. The cord is the trade-off, and in some homes it's too short to finish a room without moving to another outlet, which slows down a wet clean.

Easy. The water and debris tanks on the WD101 come apart, empty and rinse without fuss, and there's no mop bucket to deal with. Set it on the storage tray and the self-cleaning cycle runs automatically to flush the system between uses.

Mainly the self-clean cycle and early failures. Some units feel durable, but others have the self-clean cycle stop working or fail outright within months. Run every mode on the WD101 early on, so a fault shows up while it's still new.

Not really. At 10.3 lb, the WD101 is easy to steer and fairly light, though one report calls it a little bulky. LED headlights show dirt ahead of the head, and the display switches between hard floor and rug modes as you move from room to room.
