Shark NV352 Navigator Lift Away Upright Vacuum

Yes. Strong suction on carpet is what the NV352 is known for, and it often pulls far more dirt and sand out of a carpet than the vacuum it replaced. The flip side is the 1.04-liter cup, which fills fast on a dirty carpet, so plan on emptying it partway through a big room.

Mostly easy. For an upright the NV352 feels light, and the swivel steering takes it around furniture without much effort. A few find it heavy or tiring to push over a long clean, and it's still 12.5 lb to haul up a flight of stairs.

It can. The suction grips thick and shag rugs hard enough that the head sticks and becomes hard to push. Turning the suction dial down helps, but the NV352 has no brush height setting, so a deep-pile rug may stay a struggle however you set it.

Well. In homes with shedding dogs and cats the NV352 lifts a lot of hair, often filling the cup on the first pass over a rug. For hair on a sofa or car seat, lift the canister off and use the wide upholstery tool that comes in the box.

Often not. A short cord is a common complaint, and some end up adding an extension cord so they can clean without switching outlets. The listing doesn't give a cord length for the NV352, so in large rooms or a home with outlets far apart, expect to unplug and move more than you'd like.

It's mixed. Lifting the canister off for stairs and furniture is a real plus, and it's why the NV352 can do above-floor jobs an ordinary upright can't. Some find the hose short and the lift-away steps fiddly, though, so a full staircase can mean moving the canister often.

Yes. A switch turns the brush roll off for bare floors, which is the setting to use on hardwood, tile or vinyl, and it's a feature that goes down well in homes with those floors. With the brush off the NV352 cleans by suction alone, and you switch it back on when you reach carpet.
