Shark AV2501AE AI Robot Vacuum

Yes, if it runs daily. In homes with dogs and cats, the Shark AV2501AE keeps shed fur under control on hardwood, tile and rugs, and the amount of hair and dust that ends up in the base often comes as a surprise. A daily schedule works better than an occasional run, because the fur never gets a chance to build up.

Mostly, once it's connected. Labeling rooms, sending the AV2501AE to spot clean and setting schedules are all simple in the app. The trouble tends to come before and after that: some units won't join Wi-Fi, a few hit product registration glitches, and saved maps sometimes disappear and have to be made again.

Sometimes. Mapping is quick and accurate in most homes, but the Shark AV2501AE can wedge itself under low furniture, so it's worth checking clearances or blocking those spots off. Its route also changes from one run to the next, and some areas get covered twice.

Not entirely. It works best as daily upkeep between deeper cleans with a full-size vacuum. The AV2501AE handles dust, hair and small debris well, but larger bits are harder for it and can get caught instead of picked up. Keep the upright for the weekly job and let the robot cover the days in between.

It heads back to the base, recharges and then picks up where it left off. Shark rates it at up to 120 minutes per charge, and the self-emptying base holds up to 60 days of debris before it needs emptying.
