About This Vacuum
The Shark AI Ultra maps your home with 360° LiDAR vision and cleans in a precision grid pattern with multiple passes. Its self-cleaning brushroll handles pet hair without tangling across hardwood, tile, and carpet. Matrix Clean navigation guides the robot room by room while detecting and avoiding furniture and obstacles. When the bin fills, it returns to the XL self-emptying base automatically and empties itself for up to 60 days without bags. Voice control through Alexa or Google Assistant starts cleaning hands-free, and the SharkClean app handles scheduling and spot cleaning. This vacuum suits pet owners, busy families, and homes with mixed flooring. The 15.3 lb weight and large base footprint require dedicated floor space. It's a daily pickup tool, though, and doesn't get hair out of carpet or textured rugs as deeply as a full-size vacuum.
Frequently Asked Questions
No. The AV2511AE is a daily pickup tool, and it doesn't clean as deep as a full-size vacuum, especially with hair in carpet or textured rugs. It moves between hardwood, tile and thick rugs without trouble, though pickup is weaker on bumpy patterned or runner rugs.
Yes, with regular runs. Running the Shark AI Ultra daily or twice a week keeps dog and cat hair under control, and the self-cleaning brushroll comes out easily when it does need clearing. Hair worked deep into carpet still needs a proper vacuum now and then.
Well, once it's set up. LiDAR mapping and obstacle routing on the Shark AI Ultra work properly after setup, but the first maps can take a few tries. It can also wedge itself under low furniture, so check the clearance under sofas and beds.
It's mixed. Some find the SharkClean app easy for schedules and room selection, while others run into lost maps, unclear instructions and missing features. You can also start, stop and direct the Shark AI Ultra by voice through Alexa or Google Assistant.
Not much. Weekly care on the Shark AI Ultra means rinsing or swapping filters and popping the roller out to clear hair, and wear parts swap without tools. The self-emptying base takes the bin's contents automatically, with no bags to buy.
