About This Vacuum
The ECOVACS DEEBOT T8 AIVI is a smart robot vacuum with AI vision and automated cleaning. Its AIVI technology includes a 122-degree wide-angle HD camera with 2.0 megapixels for real-time pet monitoring and object recognition. The vacuum identifies humans and 7 specific objects (cabinets, chairs, doors, wires, slippers, socks, carpets) to navigate intelligently around your home. It vacuums and mops simultaneously using OZMO Pro Wiper Technology. The dToF (direct Time-of-Flight) sensor creates millimeter-level maps and remembers multiple floor layouts. The 5200mAh battery runs for up to 3 hours per charge. Full app control lets you schedule, monitor, and customize cleaning remotely. The T8 AIVI works with Google Assistant and Alexa for voice commands. This is a renewed unit that has been professionally inspected and tested to work like new. AI monitoring and precise mapping perform best in well-lit spaces with stable WiFi.
Frequently Asked Questions
It's mixed. On hard floors the DEEBOT T8 AIVI often keeps dirt and pet hair under control, but carpet cleaning is weak, and some units clean poorly from the first run. If most of the home is carpet, or this is meant to be the only vacuum, that's a real limitation; on mostly hard floors it holds up better.
It's mixed. Some units build a clean map in one pass, while others see the map shift or distort between runs, which throws off room-by-room cleaning. Getting the T8 AIVI onto Wi-Fi can also be a struggle, since it only joins a 2.4 GHz network, so check your router settings before setup.
Yes. It vacuums and mops at the same time using Ecovacs' OZMO Pro wiper system, and its camera is used to recognise objects like wires, socks and slippers so it can steer around them.
Yes. It responds to voice commands through Google Assistant and Alexa, and the app lets you schedule and monitor cleaning remotely.
