About This Vacuum
The Dyson V8 Absolute is a refurbished cordless vacuum that is built on Dyson technology. Dyson's team inspects, tests, and reconditions each unit to their standards. Runtime reaches 40 minutes on a single charge across two modes. Powerful mode handles everyday cleaning while preserving battery life. MAX mode delivers stronger suction for tougher dirt and deep cleaning. Two cleaner heads come included. The Motorbar™ head works on both carpet and hard floors, with a brush bar that automatically removes wrapped hair and pet fur. The Fluffy™ head has soft woven nylon and anti-static carbon fiber for hard floors. Both connect to a fully sealed HEPA filter that traps microscopic particles. The vacuum converts to handheld mode with one click, reaching stairs, car interiors, and upholstery without extra tools. It weighs 5.6 lb and stores compactly. Refurbished units may show light scratches or paint discoloration but work like new. You get a 6-month warranty and lifetime Dyson support.
Frequently Asked Questions
It's mixed. Some units do well on pet hair, while others came across as weak and left dust behind on hard floors. The V8 Absolute is rated at 115 AW, so if a unit leaves visible dust on bare floors with the Fluffy head fitted, raise it under the 6-month warranty.
Not always. The rating is up to 40 minutes, and these batteries can last for years, but some refurbished units don't hold a charge for the advertised time. Time a full charge on the Dyson soon after it arrives, while the 6-month warranty still covers it.
No, it's refurbished by Dyson. Units may have cosmetic marks such as scratches, scuffs or discoloration, and it comes with a 6-month warranty.
Two: the Motorbar head for all floor types, which clears wrapped hair as you clean, and the Fluffy head for hard floors.
Yes. It converts to a handheld for cars, stairs and upholstery. It weighs 5.6 lb, and the bin holds 0.53 L.
