Mostly, yes. In homes with cats and dogs the L50 Ultra pulls a lot of hair and fine dust out of carpet, and the HyperStream DuoBrush is built to resist tangles. It isn't flawless, though: hair clumps have been left behind, and in one home the dock wouldn't fully empty the bin.

Rarely. The L50 Ultra steers around cords, chair legs and stools and seldom needs rescuing. New furniture can still catch it out, so watch the first run after you rearrange a room. The ProLeap legs lift it up to 6cm to clear door tracks and thick rugs.

In most homes, yes. A vacuum and mop run on the L50 Ultra usually finishes on one charge. Bigger or deeper cleans pause to recharge and then pick up where they stopped, so you don't have to restart anything yourself.

Some, not all. The L50 Ultra gets daily grime and some dried spills up well, but stubborn dried stains can need several passes or a high water setting. For a sticky kitchen floor, plan on a second run over the worst spots.

At first, for many. The app gives a lot of control over the L50 Ultra, including five carpet modes, but it's often confusing in the early days. On at least one unit, saved maps and schedules disappeared more than once and had to be set up again.
