DREAME X30 Ultra Robot Vacuum

Very good on hard floors. The spinning pads leave tile and wood clean, and the base washes them between passes, so the X30 Ultra keeps working with fresh pads instead of spreading dirt around. The mop also lifts on carpet, which keeps rugs dry when the robot moves between rooms.

No. Mapping is quick and setup is easy in most homes, and the DREAME app has deep options for rooms, schedules and cleaning modes. That depth cuts both ways: a few find it takes a while to learn everything the app can do, so expect some time in the settings before it runs the way you want.

Sometimes. Object avoidance handles shoes and cables well, but some units spin in place or lose their way, near mirrors in particular, and a few leave patches uncleaned. If you have mirrored furniture at floor level, check the X30 Ultra's cleaning map after the first few runs and block off trouble spots.

Not much. In homes with shedding dogs and long human hair, the X30 Ultra picks hair up without wrapping it around the brush, so there's little cutting tangles off the roller. You'll still empty the bin and look over the brush now and then, but hair isn't a constant chore.

Usually. Many homes get a full vacuum and mop out of one charge, which runs about 2 to 2.5 hours. Custom settings change that: one home running heavier settings couldn't finish the whole house. If yours is large, use lighter settings or split the X30 Ultra's job into separate room runs.

It empties the robot's dustbin, refills the mopping water, and washes the mop and washboard after each session. The base weighs 41.8 lb and needs a permanent spot on the floor or counter.
