About This Vacuum
On the Shark NV752, the lift-away is powered. Detach the pod to reach under furniture and the brushroll keeps spinning, so you're not left with bare suction. It's a full-size bagless upright weighing 15.4 lb, finished in Bordeaux. Filtration is a washable HEPA filter plus foam filters, in a system Shark describes as completely sealed. Fingertip controls turn it on and off and move it between hard floor and carpet modes. LED headlights sit on the nozzle and the handheld. Shark gives the dust cup as 0.88 quarts. Tools include a self-cleaning Pet Power Brush for carpeted stairs and upholstery, an upholstery tool for curtains and lampshades, and a crevice tool. At 15.4 lb, carrying the whole thing up a staircase is work, which is where the pod and the Pet Power Brush come in. Our data has no cord length for it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Very well. In homes with dogs and cats, the Shark NV752 pulls up a lot of hair and fine dust, often filling the dust cup on its first run. Strong suction does most of the work, and the Pet Power Brush takes care of carpeted stairs and upholstery.
Yes. Detaching the NV752's pod makes stairs, upholstery, ceiling corners and the space under furniture easy to reach, and the pet brush and wand light help in those spots. Because the lift-away is powered, the brushroll keeps spinning while you work off the floor.
It's mixed. At 15.4 lb, the NV752 feels light and easy to steer to some, while others call it heavy and say it takes some strength to push. Even those who find it heavy tend to think the cleaning makes up for it. Use the pod on stairs instead of hauling the whole upright.
Yes, from the handle. The NV752 lets you turn the brushroll on and off with fingertip controls, so it moves from carpet to hard floor without scattering debris or risking scratches. Leave the brushroll off on wood or tile and switch it back on for rugs.
