Sometimes. A single floor or a small house often fits in one charge, but in other homes the HydroVac Cordless Pro cuts out partway through, and a full recharge then takes hours. With a big run of hard floor, split the job into two sessions or start with a full battery.

Visibly cleaner floors. The Shark HydroVac Cordless Pro vacuums and mops sealed wood and tile in the same pass, and the floor dries quickly, so there's little waiting before you walk across it. Keep it to sealed hard floors, since it isn't built for carpet.

It's mixed. The dock cycle flushes the brushroll and cleaning path after each use, and plenty of households rely on it. Still, some end up pulling the brushroll to clean it by hand, and in one case the cycle seemed to do very little. Plan on an occasional manual clean of the HydroVac Cordless Pro anyway.

With daily pet mess, yes: muddy paw prints and spilled food lift easily. Heavy shedding is harder. Long hair can clog the brushroll, and wet hair tends to clump on rugs, so in a home with a big shedder the HydroVac Cordless Pro works best after a dry vacuum pass.

Yes. It weighs 8.4 lb and is often described as light and easy to carry, stairs included. In a home with more than one level, that and the lack of a cord make moving it between floors simple.
