On tile and hardwood, mostly yes. Mopping is the part of the S7 MaxV Ultra that tends to impress, leaving floors clean and mostly free of streaks, and it often takes over the weekly mop job entirely. Sticky spots can still need a second pass, but for routine upkeep you can put the bucket away.

Don't count on it. Results are split: in some homes the S7 MaxV Ultra avoids cords and furniture well, but in homes with dogs it has pushed pet toys around the floor and run straight over pet messes. With a dog in the house, pick up toys and check the floor before a scheduled run.

Not long. Setup is quick and close to plug and play, and the app is easy to use for scheduling runs and controlling the robot day to day. Once it's connected, the S7 MaxV Ultra does the first mapping run on its own, so there isn't much for you to do.

Fairly accurate, and quick to build. The first mapping run doesn't take long, but the room borders aren't always right, and some homes end up redrawing them by hand in the app. If the map looks off, remapping the S7 MaxV Ultra in better light can sort it out.

Up to 180 minutes, enough for a large home or several runs before it heads back to recharge. Between runs the self-empty dock takes the dirt out of the robot's bin, so there's less to empty by hand.

Yes. It vacuums carpet, tile and hardwood with 5100 Pa of suction, and it detects carpets and rugs to change how it cleans. Its VibraRise system lifts the mop when it moves from hard floor onto carpet, so rugs stay dry.
