KEROMEE Stick Corded Handheld Vacuum

Yes. The BX216 weighs 3 lb, and it's easy to use with one hand and easy to carry up stairs. It also comes apart into a handheld for small jobs like a stair tread, a windowsill or the corner of the sofa, so it doubles as a quick pickup tool between bigger cleans.

Well. On hardwood and vinyl the suction is strong for the size of the KEROMEE BX216, and it picks up dog and cat hair and dust bunnies without much fuss. One unit's suction faded after about a year, so treat it as a light-duty floor cleaner for hard surfaces.

Sometimes. Some units have the dust cup lock or the filter ring snap, or the motor quit within months, while others keep going past a year. The latches on the BX216 are the parts to handle gently, especially when you take the cup off to empty it.

Nowhere built in. The BX216 has no hook or wrap for its cord, so storing it means tying the cord up yourself with a strap or a twist tie. The upside of that cord is reach, since it's long enough to cover several rooms from one outlet.

Washable HEPA filters, and a spare comes in the box. Assembly is quick, and since the filters wash out, upkeep on the KEROMEE BX216 mostly comes down to emptying the 1.2 liter dust cup and rinsing a filter now and then while the spare is in use.
