Kenmore 600 Series Pet Friendly Bagged Canister Vacuum

Two floor nozzles come with the Kenmore 600 Series (81615): a motorized Pet PowerMate for carpet and the POP-N-GO brush for bare floors, which Kenmore says snaps onto the handle and wand. That pairing is the reason to pick this canister over a single-head model if your floors switch between rugs and hardwood. It's bagged, uses a Triple HEPA filter and runs a 2-motor system that Kenmore rates at 183 W of suction at the hose end, on 12 amps. Kenmore lists a 28-foot retractable cord, a 14-inch cleaning width and an aluminum wand that reaches 10 feet. You also get a crevice tool, a dirt brush, a bare floor tool, an upholstery brush and a dusting brush, all stored on board. We haven't given a weight here because the figures we hold for this model don't agree with each other, so confirm it before buying if you'll be carrying it upstairs. And as with any bagged machine, budget for replacement bags.
