iRobot Roomba Combo i5 Robot Vacuum

It's mixed. Mapping takes several runs, and setting room dividers is fiddly. Some homes end up with a good Imprint Smart Map, but others never get the whole home mapped properly, which limits the room-by-room cleaning the Combo i5 is sold on.

It can. Several find it gets stuck under furniture or fails to dock without telling you, so you come home to a robot sitting in the middle of the floor. Others find it gets back to base every time, but it's worth checking low furniture first.

No. Its mop is a light daily wipe that picks up footprints and everyday grime between cleans. For a real mopping you'll still be doing it yourself, and switching modes means swapping the bin and refilling water.

It varies. Some see it decline or fail within months to a year and a half, while at least one is still running well after nearly three years. Keep the receipt and know your warranty terms.

The combo bin takes plain water or a compatible cleaning solution, and wets a microfiber mop pad. You swap it in place of the vacuum bin when you want to mop.

Not on its own. It's compatible with iRobot's Clean Base, which iRobot says gives up to 60 days of hands-off emptying.
