Hoover Commercial HushTone Upright Vacuum

Mostly. The CH54115 pulls well on high pile and thick entrance mats, and strong suction is the usual finding. It isn't perfect: on a couple of units it sometimes leaves debris behind, and pickup along edges is weak, so baseboards may need a second pass.

Very quiet. Hoover lists it at 69 dB, and in hush mode staff can hold a normal conversation while the HushTone runs. It stays quiet even on boost, which suits offices and other spaces where cleaning happens while people are around.

Usually. The CH54115 is ruggedly built and holds up to rough commercial use with few belt replacements. It's not a sure thing, though, and in one case two units failed within a few years, so register the warranty and keep the paperwork.

Yes. At 18.96 lb with a weighty handle, the HushTone takes effort to push, and steering it into tight spots is hard work. It suits open floor areas more than cramped rooms full of furniture, and carrying it between floors is a real job, so it works best where it can stay on one level.

About 40 ft, by one report, and the cord is replaceable. Bags, filters and other parts on the HushTone can be reached and swapped without tools, so routine servicing doesn't need a toolbox or a repair shop. That matters for a machine meant to run every day in a commercial space.

It shuts off the motor to avoid breaking the belt. The air path can also be cleared without tools if it clogs.
