Dyson V8 Absolute Cordless Vacuum

The Dyson V8 Absolute is a cordless stick vacuum with 15 cyclones arranged in two tiers. This two-tier design maintains consistent suction throughout a cleaning session, unlike many cordless competitors that lose power as the battery drains. On a full charge, you get up to 40 minutes of runtime, though actual time varies by power mode and which attachments you're using. The Motorbar cleaner head works on both carpet and hard floors. It has an automatic hair-clearing function that stops the brush bar from tangling with pet fur and long hair, so you won't need scissors or manual cleanup between uses. The Hair Screw Tool features a conical anti-tangle design to pull stubborn pet hair from upholstery, stairs, and car interiors. The filtration system captures 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 microns (99.99% in Boost mode). The filter is washable and lasts the life of the machine. At 5.58 lb, the V8 is light enough for extended cleaning and converts to handheld mode without strain. It's well-suited for medium-sized homes with mixed flooring and households with shedding pets. The main cordless trade-offs are battery runtime (you'll plan sessions around charge time) and the bagless bin, which needs regular emptying on larger jobs.
