Shark PowerPro Plus Cordless Stick Vacuum

Often not. A charge gets through one floor or a smaller home, but in larger or carpeted homes the boost trigger drains the battery fast and cleaning ends up split across charges. Shark lists the PowerPro Plus at up to 50 minutes per charge, and boost cuts into that quickly.

Hard floors. On tile and other hard floors the IZ377H picks up well as it is, but on carpet and mats you'll lean on the boost trigger for strong pickup, and that costs runtime. FloorDetect changes the brushroll speed between the two on its own, but carpet still wants that boost.

Well. Dog hair, cat hair and long human hair all come up, and when hair does collect in the brushroll it's easy to clear. Shark fits a self-cleaning brushroll to cut down on wrap. One thing to watch is loose rugs, since it can suck the edge of one up.

Yes. At 7 lb it's light and easy to steer, so it tends to come out for quick daily messes instead of waiting for cleaning day. It also converts to a handheld in seconds for stairs, upholstery and the car.

No. The PowerPro Plus doesn't stand up well by itself and has no wall mount, so storing and charging it is a little awkward. Plan on leaning it against a wall near an outlet, or finding a corner where it won't tip over.

Not really. The guide is pictures only, so working out where the filter goes, how to empty the bin and what the red warning light means is mostly left to you. Emptying from the bottom is quick once you know how, but the bin can open over your lap the first time.
