Shark HZ702 Ultralight PetPro Corded Stick Vacuum

No. The HZ702 won't stay upright unsupported, so you have to lean it against a wall or a piece of furniture whenever you stop. That gets old if you pause often to move chairs or pick things up, since there's nowhere to park it mid-clean.

A bit, yes. The HZ702 feels light in use, but the motor sits up near the handle, so it's top-heavy until you get used to the balance. It weighs 9.7 lb in all, and the hand vac detaches when you need to get into tight spaces.

Well on both. Pickup on carpet, rugs and hard floors is strong, and the HZ702 runs on a 25-foot cord, so there's no battery to fade. One person found it weak on kibble and leaves, so bigger debris may take a second pass.

Yes. Hair from shedding cats and dogs comes up well. The PowerFins HairPro brushroll cleans itself, so long and short hair doesn't wrap around it, and the LED headlights show hair you'd otherwise miss.

The dust cup comes off easily for emptying. It holds 0.37 liters, so a heavy shedding day can mean emptying it more than once, and the foam filter needs regular cleaning to keep suction up.
