SAMSUNG BESPOKE Jet Cordless Stick Vacuum

On normal power, usually. One charge of the Bespoke Jet covers a whole house or two floors, roughly 2,300 to 3,400 sq ft. Samsung rates it at up to 60 minutes on minimum, 30 on mid, 10 on max and 3 on jet, so leaning on the top settings cuts that coverage hard.

Dock the Bespoke Jet, press a button, and the station empties the bin into a bag without a puff of dust. It's a favourite feature, and it means you rarely touch dirt at all. Samsung lists a 5-layer HEPA filtration system on the stick itself.

No. The Bespoke Jet feels light and steers easily, stairs included. Don't be put off by the 26.8 lb on the spec sheet: that figure includes the charging station, and the handheld unit you actually carry weighs about 6 pounds.

No. The Jet Dual Brush handles hardwood, rugs and carpet without a head swap, and the Bespoke Jet does well on all three. It isn't as strong as a corded upright, though, so don't expect upright-level depth on carpet.

Day to day, yes. With heavy-shedding dogs the Bespoke Jet keeps up with the daily fur. The occasional unit clogs with hair and dust after a few months of that, so it's worth checking the brush and the path into the bin now and then.

Often, yes. The Bespoke Jet tends to sound quieter than the corded vacuum it replaces. Samsung lists it at 79 dB, and the digital display shows which power level you're on, so you can stay on the lower, quieter settings for everyday floors.
