The first map is quick, the room setup isn't. The Qrevo Curv S5X builds its initial map fast, but splitting and labelling rooms takes time, and the map only grows during full cleans, so a partial run won't add new areas. Give it a couple of whole-home cleans before room-by-room scheduling feels settled.

Sometimes. Rugs usually come up clean and pet hair goes in without tangling, but a few S5X units have left crumbs and small debris behind. If the kitchen or dining area is where most of your mess lands, scheduling a second pass there is a sensible habit.

Rarely. The S5X steers around furniture, boxes and cords without bumping into them, and it seldom gets stuck. Its structured light works alongside LiDAR in any lighting, so a dark room or an evening run doesn't throw it off, and you rarely come home to find it wedged somewhere.

For upkeep, yes. Mopping on the S5X freshens hard floors between deeper cleans and doesn't wet the edges of rugs. It isn't a scrub, though, and a few have found it not thorough enough for heavier messes, so a hand mop still has a place now and then.

Mostly the water tanks. The dock empties the robot's bin, washes the mops in 167°F water and warm-air dries them, so the regular chore is swapping the clean and dirty water tanks about once a week. Detergent is dispensed automatically, so there's little else to top up.
