It's mixed. For everyday dirt, the Streamline can stand in for a mop and leaves floors clean without puddles. On stuck-on grime, though, the soft roller often does little, so dried spills and sticky patches may still need a scrub by hand before or after a pass.

The brush roll and water feed are the trouble spots. Some units throw repeated roller errors, and on others only part of the roller gets wet, which leaves streaks behind. If the Streamline streaks from the first use, check that water reaches the whole roller before blaming the floor or the solution.
