About This Vacuum
The Gtech Multi Platinum is a lightweight cordless handheld vacuum at 3.3 lb, built for spot cleaning where full-size vacuums won't reach. It runs for 30 minutes per 3-hour charge, making it handy for quick car cleanouts, stairs, and upholstery. The motorized power brush head tackles embedded dirt and pet hair on carpets and fabric. An integrated crevice tool fits tight gaps between car seats and cushions. An extension tube reaches high shelves. The dusting brush handles delicate surfaces like lampshades and electronics. All attachments store inside the unit. A scented cartridge system neutralizes odors, and the washable filter keeps maintenance simple. The powered brush can miss fine debris on hard surfaces, and some wish it came with a plain bristle head for those jobs. It works best for homes with stairs, pet owners doing spot work, and car detailing rather than whole-house cleaning.
Frequently Asked Questions
Not with the power brush alone. The tools swap on and off easily, but the powered brush on the Multi Platinum can miss fine debris on hard surfaces, and the lack of a plain bristle head in the box is a common gripe.
Fast for a handheld. Debris comes up quickly, and the motorized brush does a lot of that work on carpet and fabric. That makes the Multi Platinum quick work on car seats and upholstery, and the built-in crevice tool reaches the gaps between seats and cushions.
Yes. Homes with several dogs or cats use the Multi Platinum to clear hair from carpeted stairs and cloth furniture, the jobs the motorized brush head is built for. At 3.3 lb it's easy to carry from step to step without getting tired.
For handheld jobs, yes. The charge lasts a long time for spot cleaning, and Gtech rates the Multi Platinum at 30 minutes per 3-hour charge. That's plenty for stairs, a car and a couch, though a whole-house job isn't what it's for.
Inside the unit. The crevice tool is built in, and an extension tube for high shelves and a dusting brush for lampshades and electronics store on board.
A cartridge that masks odors as you clean. The filter is washable, so upkeep is mostly rinsing it.
