Dyson, Purple

Carpet first. The cleaner head is made to drive into carpet fibers and lift dust, animal hair and ground-in dirt. It works on hard floors too, so the Dyson suits homes with a mix of both, especially where carpet takes the heaviest traffic.

You steer the cleaning head under furniture, around corners and between rooms while the canister follows behind. That takes less strain than pushing a full upright, and the Dyson reaches low gaps an upright body can't get under.

Homes with mixed flooring and a pet hair problem, where deep cleaning matters more than portability. The tools are made for tough jobs across all floors. If you want something light to grab for quick touch-ups, this Dyson canister isn't that machine.
