Dyson V12 Detect Slim+ Cordless Vacuum

Yes, it's the standout. The green light on the V12 Detect Slim+ shows dust and hair you'd never otherwise notice, especially on hard floors, and it makes missed patches obvious. It's at its most useful on hardwood and tile rather than carpet.

Yes. The V12 Detect Slim+ lifts dust, pet hair, crumbs and tracked cat litter without much effort, and rugs tend to look brighter after a pass. Dyson rates the suction at 150 AW, a figure that matches its own site.

Very light. At 4.85 lb, a weight Dyson's own site confirms, the V12 Detect Slim+ feels slim and easy to carry from room to room or up the stairs. That low weight is the reason its bin is on the small side.

With pets, yes. The bin on the V12 Detect Slim+ holds 0.76 liters, small enough that homes with shedding dogs or cats find it fills quickly. Others are happy to trade that for the lower weight, so it comes down to how much hair your home produces.

Dyson rates the V12 Detect Slim+ at up to 60 minutes on a single charge in standard power mode. Higher power settings run shorter.
