Candy Corded Stick Vacuum

Yes. For a small, inexpensive corded stick, the Candy CSC-S600 pulls hard, and dirt, dust and debris on hard floors and stairs come up easily. Running off the wall also means suction stays the same from the first room to the last, with no battery level to watch.

Partly. The Candy is at its best on hard floors. Carpet is mixed: some homes get by fine, while others need extra passes on rugs and find hair left deep in the fibres. Treat it as a hard-floor and quick-cleanup tool, and keep something with more power for thick carpet.

It's mixed. In one home the cord reaches several rooms, while two reports call it short and mention swapping outlets as they go. Candy doesn't list a cord length for the CSC-S600, so plan around where the outlets are, especially in larger rooms or long hallways.

Yes. At 4.7 lb it's light and compact, easy to carry between rooms and simple to tuck into a closet, which suits apartments, dorms and quick evening clean-ups. The 3-in-1 design adds a handheld mode for stairs and spots a full stick can't reach.

Not much. There's no battery to recharge or wear out, since it runs as long as it's plugged in. The 0.8-liter dust cup empties with one click, and an extra HEPA filter comes in the box, so a replacement is ready when the first one needs it.
