Bissell Commercial BGC2000 Little Hercules Canister Vacuum

Plenty for a small canister. The Little Hercules pulls pet hair and dust out of cabinets, cars and upholstery with strong suction, though in one case it came across as weak. A suction control lets you turn it down for curtains and lampshades.

Not really. The floor tool has no brush, and on carpet and rugs the BGC2000 does little. It's at its best on bare floors and above-floor jobs like shelves, stairs and car interiors, so pair it with a carpet vacuum if much of the house is carpeted.

Somewhat, and it comes up repeatedly. The plastic body, hose and fittings on the Little Hercules feel cheap for a vac carrying Bissell's commercial branding. It works, and the light build is part of why it's easy to move, but it doesn't feel like heavy-duty commercial gear.

Not always. Most of the tools work fine, but the extension wands on the BGC2000 can pull apart in use. Push them together firmly before you start, and check that joint first if suction at the tip suddenly drops.

Yes. At 6.5 lb, the Little Hercules is easy to carry, even up a ladder to clear cobwebs or out to the driveway for the car. The carry handle and wheeled base mean it rarely needs dragging around.

The cord is 15 feet, so expect to switch outlets more often in big rooms. That length suits car detailing near a garage socket, stairs and spot jobs more than whole-floor cleaning.
