Bissell CleanView Swivel Vacuum, Triple Action Brush Roll, 3836

Bissell's 2024 CleanView Swivel, model 3836, adds an Active Extension Wand to the familiar upright. Bissell says it lets you reach up to 12 feet, which helps with ceiling corners, the tops of curtains and stairs. The rest is standard CleanView: swivel steering, a Triple Action brush roll for embedded dirt and pet hair, and scatter-free technology for hard floors. Three of its numbers are checked against Bissell's own site. It weighs 13 lb, the bagless dirt tank holds 1 liter, and the cord is 25 feet long, which covers a fair stretch of floor before you need another outlet. The filter is foam, and specialized pet tools come with it. Our data lists carpet as its main surface. At 13 lb it's a floor machine first. You push it rather than carry it, so stairs are a job for the wand and tools, not for hauling the whole vacuum up step by step.
