About This Vacuum
The Bissell CleanView Compact Upright Vacuum weighs under 8 pounds and runs on a 23-foot power cord. Its rotating brush system picks up dirt on both carpets and hard floors, while scatter-free technology keeps debris from flying around on hard surfaces. The removable extension wand reaches ceiling fans, curtains, and high shelves. A single button empties the dirt container, no bags required. Swivel steering helps you navigate around furniture, and on-board tool storage keeps attachments within reach. It works well for apartments and small homes. The corded design gives you unlimited runtime and consistent power, though you'll need to stay near outlets. Every purchase supports the Bissell Pet Foundation's work with homeless pets.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, for its size. The 3508 often pulls up more dust than you'd expect from a small, low-cost upright, though it can come across as adequate rather than impressive. For apartment floors and small rooms, that's usually plenty.
Easy. At 8 lb the CleanView Compact is light enough to pull out of a closet and push around without effort, and it's small enough to tuck away in an apartment or a dorm room where floor space is tight.
Yes. Dog and cat hair and scattered litter come up from carpet and hard floors without trouble on the 3508. The dirt cup empties with one button, so clearing out a pet-hair session doesn't mean touching the debris.
23 feet, a figure checked against Bissell's site. A removable extension wand handles ceiling fans, curtains and high shelves.
Bissell says its scatter-free technology keeps debris from flying around on hard surfaces. That's the maker's claim.
